F A Q

Q1:  Can I get waxed while on my cycle?

A1:  Yes, you can! We are women and it's natural, not gross! wear a tampon or menstrual cup and come on in!

Q2:  How long should my hair be in order to get waxed?

A2:  Hair must be at least 1/4" in length or 14 days of growth.

Q3: Do you use hard wax or soft wax?

A3: All full body waxing is done with hard wax! Hard wax is not only less painful than most traditional waxes it also requires no strips and is super quick and easy.

Q4:  How old do you have to be to get a Brazilian Wax Service?

A4:  Must be 18 or 16 with parent consent.

Q5:  How long does the hair stay gone for after Brazilian service?

A5:  You will notice hair growth in the second week and it will be very sparse.  The Wax Place™, we recommend waxing every 4 weeks to maintain smooth skin.

Q6: How do I prepare for a wax? Should I take anthing for pain?

A6:  First things first you'll need 2 weeks worth of hair growth. Book an appointment 2 weeks prior via the Booksy scheduling app. The day before your wax exfoliate the skin to loosen the hair up and make your waxing experience a little easier. Come to your appointment clean and wear loose fitting clothes. After every wax you don't want to restrict your skin.   Cotton underwear or none at all afer a wax is recommended.  Be sure to avoid caffeine the day of or smoking right before as these actions will make you more sensitive.  You can take a Tylenol or Avil 30min prior to help with discomfort (optional).

Q7:  Should I trim first?

A7:  NO! let us do it. Often times guest trim the hair too short.

Q8: Are there any restriction after Brazilian service?

A8:  YES! ~ No sex, working out, swimming, spray tans, saunas or sun exposure for 24 to 48 hrs.
